Teixidors is a cooperative, with designs that are defined by consensus and a commitment to being different from the rest. It is the product of 28 years of efforts to bring the products of the loom to the market, making the loom a means for people with mental disabilities to live with dignity.
This priority goal is implemented through extraordinarily creative work with manual looms, thanks to which the products created on the Teixidors looms and by the hands of their workers are truly unique. According to its founders this is not a utopian or romantic ideal, but a concrete and palpable fact, a philosophy of work that its workers put into practice every day.
The people behind this beautiful, timeless and futuristic miracle number 45 in all, and Teixidors is the brand that represents them. The concept of "sustainability" plays an important role in it: "Sustainability is an all-encompassing concept that must incorporate environmental and social parameters. The integration of people at risk of social exclusion and a commitment to responsible consumption form part of sustainability for Teixidors."
