Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a community volunteer organization that offers help to people in need. This organization operates in Collin, Dallas, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall in North Texas and provides financial, material and emotional support. It also provides training to make people self-sufficient.

The staff of St. Vincent de Paul works with a common commitment: "Among all of us we strive to improve the quality of life of all people and help them to work to live in a self-sufficient and dignified way."

This organization has developed a Mini Loan Program, an innovative initiative that converts payday loans, with very high interest, into a loan with more advantageous conditions, which can be paid in 12 months.

To date, this entity has helped more than 47,000 people deliver nearly $3 million in aid over the past year in North Texas. The 830 volunteers serving in nine counties conducted more than 8,000 home visits to those in need. This entity is part of an international organization that provides services in more than 150 countries with more than 900,000 members.
