The Roba Amiga project was started in 2006, when a group of institutions dedicated to finding jobs for people formed a cooperative with the aim of taking a new look at the traditional charity action of donating clothes by developing its industrial and environmental potential, recovering this resource for reuse or recycling.
Roba Amiga covers the whole cycle from selection of the clothes that are considered suitable for returning to the commercial circuit in its network of 16 stores, to exporting to other countries in the world in order to give them a second life, or recycling of the fabrics that cannot be used.
It operates with the assistance of more than 1,000 containers dedicated to the collection of clothes and five textile processing plants.
