The "La Ecológica" Pizzeria-School is a project focused on young people at risk of social exclusion. It offers them a space for social education and job training. They receive training, real mentoring in employment and are given a practical example of an ethical, responsible and supportive business where main elements are organic products and vegan and health options.

This social enterprise normally operates as a restaurant open to the public and to the local area. Its commercial activity has the twin purpose of financing the project and making La Ecológica a space open to everyone. In turn, the La Ecológica space develops the training/employment project "Formando y Horneando Futuro" (Training and Baking a Future), with the aim of giving young people who are mainly from children's homes the skills they need to work in the catering sector.

The restaurant also serves to promote healthy habits. "All the products we offer are prepared with top-quality ingredients from organic agriculture and livestock production, or if not, sourced locally," explain the two entrepreneurs who represent this project in BBVA Momentum, Natalia and María Gema Fernández Tardido. "We encourage healthy and balanced food that respects the environment and people."
