How can you combine the indigenous world and the best restaurants in the world? The entrepreneur Jaime Muñoz found a response to this question in his social enterprise Los Danzantes, where he sells mezcals that are craft prepared by rural families from the mountains of Oaxaca and labels them with the same brand: Alipús.
Los Danzantes also assists farmers in person in the process of preparing mezcal, "adapting their facilities so that they can operate better and be more efficient, cleaner and obtain the certification from the Mexican regulatory board for mezcal quality (COMERCAM)."
This enterprise also takes into account environmental matters, as they determine how to use resources in the most efficient way, stop polluting and use alternative energies.
