This social enterprise aims to tend to the needs of and train children, young people and families in sustainable projects that allow them to acquire knowledge in matters of organic farming as well as generating income through urban gardens. Its purpose is to improve the lives of poor people in the city of León Guanajuato by setting up urban gardens to improve the diet and income of households. It also helps the population of Guanajuato come up with business ideas and drives self-employment by training children, young people and adults. “The creation of urban gardens helps improve the diet of families in the area of focus as well as increasing their income”, says company head Felipe Pablo Rodríguez.
The company focuses on three potential types of customers. Firstly, government programs that look to back action in favor of vulnerable areas. Secondly, companies that want to set up sustainable projects and thirdly, people who want their own organic plot to produce organic food.
