Houses with rounded shapes and a special design, made with simple and environmentally-friendly materials –that's the hallmark of Ecodome homes, a different kind of construction company that seeks to ensure its activities have the lowest possible impact on the environment.

Eduardo Canals, its founder, learned the technique of working with earth as a construction material in a previous job, and the experience opened his eyes to a new way of doing things. As he discovered more about the technique and envisaged its possibilities, he decided to set up his own company and build houses made of earth.

Homes made by Ecodome are aesthetic and affordable. “We target people with few financial resources who can't afford a mortgage”, says Eduardo. The building process is rapid and as they are well insulated, they represent a significant savings in energy and heating for their inhabitants.

Ecodome is planning new business lines for the future to expand to developing countries, people sensitive to artificial materials, and to holiday and eco-resorts, among others.
