Juan Luis Cabeza decided to leave his job and embark on an entrepreneurial adventure that would generate employment for the people who need it most.
This was the start of Directo Telmark, a telemarketing company offering call center and contact center services. However, its inspiration could not be more different from the run-of-the-mill companies in the sector. The training they give their employees at Directo Telmark is extremely important, as is the quality of the jobs that are generated. “We want our staff to consist of top professionals, and we invest a lot in their re-education and training. They come to us with no knowledge of the trade, and by investing our efforts in training, we transform them into experts”, explains Juan Luis.
The company relies heavily on technology, and invests in state-of-the-art equipment to provide work for its employees and enable them to be more competitive every day. However, this does not affect the price, which is tailored to the customer's needs.
The people who work at Directo Telmark have a range of profiles, from the unemployed through to people with disabilities. For these employees, work is the key to a dignified life and to new opportunities in a profession that many of them never expected to access.
In a much maligned sector, Directo Telmark is an example of good practice and social awareness.
