Cocemfe Toledo, finalist of BBVA's 7th Integra Award, entered BBVA Momentum with a project far removed from the stereotypes associated with special employment centers.
In this case it is a line specializing in manufacturing electrical systems for other companies, specifically for the railway and the electromedicine sector. The electrical systems that customers develop are assembled in this line in such a way that they do not need to worry about developing them since Cocemfe provides them with the finished product.
The workers who are hired to carry out this task are people with disabilities to whom the organization offers quality and highly specialized jobs. Cocemfe Toledo is responsible for adapting the job to the qualities of each employee and adapting ergonomic aspects so the person can fit in. They thus achieve that the people hired work under the conditions they need and continue to develop in their careers.
In a work world that still lacks sensitivity to people with disabilities, Cocemfe Toledo has opted for employment with good results and has managed to keep its workers, even in the darkest days of the economic crisis.
